Pelican Institute Releases Agenda for the Constitutional Convention Forum

Today, the Pelican Institute for Public Policy released the jam-packed agenda for its upcoming Constitutional Convention Forum on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Capacity is strictly limited, so reserve your spot today!

The forum will kick off with lunch beginning at 11:30 am followed by an afternoon of engaging panel discussions taking a hard look at the principles and ideas that animate a great state constitution. National and state experts will come together to discuss the principles for reform in a limited constitutional convention. Why is a convention needed? How should it be structured? What would it accomplish? For discussions around these issues – and much more – we hope you will join us for what is sure to be an informational and enlightening experience.
