Rachel Jeandron Caluda
Director of Development
Rachel is the Director of Development at the Pelican Institute for Public Policy. Rachel previously served as an attorney within a federal agency, where she received numerous awards, trained thousands of employees, and was named a Rising Star.
Rachel received her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While in law school, she interned for the Judge Lance Africk, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and Judge Fredericka Wicker, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, State of Louisiana. She also served on the editorial board of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal. Rachel graduated with honors from Loyola University New Orleans, where she majored in Political Science. She is a fellow at the Loyola University Institute of Politics. She is also a proud graduate of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA).
Rachel lives in Metairie, Louisiana, with her husband, two toddlers, and rescue dog. She serves as a lector at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
