Baton Rouge — CEO of the Pelican Institute, Daniel Erspamer released the following statement after the passage of multiple education savings account (ESA) bills were passed out of the House Education committee:
“One size fits all is all too often one size fits none. This is especially true when it comes to our kids’ education. Today, the House Education committee took great strides to expand education options by passing the education savings account (ESA) proposals out of committee. ESAs give kids in Louisiana the ability to receive a tailored education that best fits his or her needs regardless of what zip code they live in. It’s time to build on this momentum and ensure every Louisiana kid has a bright future.”
