Statewide Anti-Bullying Strategy Set for Expansion

Rep. Austin Badon’s (D - Orleans) HB 112 seeks to prohibit the harassment, intimidation, and bullying of students in Louisiana’s public school districts. The proposal would strengthen a 2001 law that mandated all Louisiana public schools include a policy in their student code of conduct to prohibit bullying.

Harvard Study Calls for New Education Priorities

Harvard's Graduate School of Education releases "Pathways to Prosperity", a study which aims to have educators place a stronger emphasis on vocational and occupational degrees, as opposed to sending all students to four-year universities.
