in Statement on Constitutional Amendment 2 Outcome
Statement from Pelican Institute CEO, Daniel Erspamer:
It’s never been more clear how hard the deeply-entrenched status quo will fight against transformational reforms. It’s disappointing that confusion and obfuscation won the day over a hopeful future for Louisiana. Rest assured, however, the fight is not over; in fact, it’s just the beginning.
We owe it to our children, grandchildren, friends, and neighbors who’ve been driven out of state by bad policy decisions that derive from a broken state constitution to keep pushing forward. Onward!
