SB 38 by Senator Edmonds ensures that all students and their families will be informed of all course offerings through the program, and clarifies the appropriate roles of the school versus the student’s family.
Schools must provide the entire listing of courses to all students and their families and offers academic counseling as students and their families choose courses appropriate for their program of study and career interests.
The bill is a necessary adjustment to enable all students to access valuable courses appropriate for their education and postsecondary/career planning.
