Louisiana Commissioner of Administration on Streamlining Government
Angele Davis was a guest at Reason Weekend in New Orleans, where she sat down with Reason’s Len Gilroy to talk about her efforts to streamline the Louisiana state government.

“We are focused on creative and sustainable solutions that will basically look for opportunities to realign our government’s size,” says Davis, Commissioner of Administration for the state of Louisiana.
Davis is also the chief financial advisor to Governor Bobby Jindal and serves on the Commission on Streamlining Government. With the goal of reducing the size of the state government and making it more more accountable, transparent and efficient, the commission has made over 200 recommendations to governor Jindal, many of which are now being implemented.
